Finally I got myself involved in a fixed monthly-paying job. Jobs before were all pay by day basis. Hm.. though it pays more but I was thinking to get something more stable and well laid down. Gives a sense of security that you actually have a stable job and not to frequently ask people around for any oncoming jobs.
Last 2 weeks I was at Mydin USJ lawls quite a phail location but who cares when you're looking at the money? and I was in the Mydin FM crew haha which was another phail part. It is not a radio station or whatsoever, it's just a team of people who aid promotion... in creative ways lol Job was to stand in Mydin Hypermart and to sell assigned product, which for me was Kopiko Brown Coffee & Ruski Instant Noodles. Even the name of the products gives you the chills. Can I even sell 1? Lol the 3-day event ended and expecting to receive my pay 2-3 months later. Superb.
Currently am at Chili's 1 Utama. This is so far the best job ever lol the staffs are super friendly and helpful, atmosphere is warm & happening, you see smiles, you get appreciated, you get to feast your eyes and you get tips haha it motivates you to work. Not forgetting a pay which is quite good. Compare this to working in an office where everybody doesn't smile all the time, dull black & white atmosphere, or doing sales where you talk to random people and would not even get a reaction, not even a smile. Working at Chili's is way better. Would definitely recommend you people to give it a try.
Till then, would be scouting around for my digital single lens reflex lol care to join me? my all-knowing camera senior, Mr Foo *bows*

On Fire
So I'm done with three papers and left with only one more lol shioking it is. My confidence is peaking for the next paper haha I should be very worried for it, judging by the fact that it's a maths paper. I dread doing numbers. Add-maths was my lowest scored subject in SPM.
Well surprisingly I've not face any difficulties in my Business Statistics lol very surprising. I thought to myself at the beginning of the semester that I'll be lucky to even pass this subject. I was super de-moralised in the first class haha but I made it through. Yeap, not barely, not merely, not sufficiently...... but nicely hahahaha.
Yea so well, put all that bragging aside and check this out
JET - Black Hearts (On Fire)
Couldn't get the music video on cause the embed feature was disabled. Hm... but this works well enough. Currently looping this song like there's no tomorrow lol that's some sweet rock n' roll from the land down under. Shaka Rock babeh !!
but dude its not on mininova

NAP
I'm not sure whether everybody knows about the new National Automobile Policies (NAP). Seems like there are still fellow 1Malaysians who are not aware of it. Better gear yourselves up for a ride........ again.
Proton Holdings (or a common term, P1) has been in the industry since 1983. Counting the years, this so called infant company will be touching 26 years of age. Yes, 26 years already in the automobile industry. That is also the number of years we Malaysians had to put up with super exclusive pricing for import cars.
The reason? of course to protect our local car producer from international competition. This is understandable since it WAS a fresh auto company. So P1 had their protection from the government. Looking back, they had a few collaboration with other experienced auto makers (Mitsubishi, Lotus & R). Some knowledge and experience should had been gained.
I seriously can't understand why P1 is moving so slowly. Just look at Kia and Hyundai, although I'm not really into Koreans but the advancement that they've made is really evident. Can you see P1 in such glory 15 years down the road? Mm... still trying to picture it. Maybe the G should start to loosen their grip on P1. Just let P1 stand on its own in the battlezone. But no..... instead, the NAP emerges.
No imported second-hand parts??15 years inspection?? These 2 policies are enough to kill already. People out there driving Hondas,Toyotas, Mercs, (just to name a few) be very prepared. Lets say I own a 2005 Honda City, 7-8 years down the road, CVT transmission is showing signs of going haywire, I bring my car to the service center, mechanic says i need to change the whole gear box. Since there are no imported second-hand parts, I have only one choice which is a brand new gear box. Price.... easily touching RM20K. By that time, the price of my City would be approx. RM35k. Purchasing that new gear box is more than half the price of my car !!! Absurd.
This also applies to some Perodua (P2) owners. The current top selling car in Malaysia, the Myvi, which is also a re-branded Toyota Passo. Owners will have to face this problem soon enough. Since there are NO imported second-hand spare parts, again the only resort is to order it from Toyota. Which will be pricy.
The reason for such policies? Evident enough for you to figure out. Hm...... now where can i start cutting expenses to save for my future car.

Anyone selling time?
This is probably the biggest time challenge after my South Australian Matriculation so far =.=
I have my Marketing Mix Plan to be due Friday (estimated 35% completed), Communication in Business presentation to be presented tomorrow (lets say 75% completed), and will be serving this saturday............ but I broke my E string 2 days ago !!! I've got to buy and change strings, practice and memo 5 songs, and complete my assignments. Everything has to be done neatly.

Up-Dates
Well I'm taking a short but much needed break from my assignments, so while doing so I shall enlighten you people with some short updates.
Got a chance to test out Lim's Nikon D90. Lol the stress is there when u grip all that weight and cash in your hands. Took some time to get myself comfortable with it.. and not too long later, I was clicking away =). Very versatile 17-185mm lens. The verdict, self satisfying. Ahh....
Was pestered to get a Nikon for future lens exchange with Lim lolz would be drooling for his lens haha.
BTW, currently writing my marketing mix plan lol and the product is the Suzuki Swift hahaha I'm practically typing away without any research LOL if research wasn't compulsory, would had done it with a snap. Oh well, this is the academic world.

Ever wondered what looks good in red other than sexy looking sleek Ferarris?
It is of course the...

Duesenberg Imperial in redburst !! As featured in the last post. my fetish for hollow-bods.
Hm.. now I've really got to think about investing in music or photography. Investments in music I had already begun. Photography, on the other hand, is new lol both are healthy past-times i reckon. Will I be satisfied with a high-end compact or a low-end dslr? The price range is tight.
Is Curtin Business School a top-10 in Aussie land?lol it better be..so that when Monash evaluate ze course, entry requirement wouldn't be that high. I'll definitely stick to an economics major, what'll my second major be? banking & finance? business law? marketing?
A 2005 Honda City VTEC or a 2003 Honda Civic ES? Price range is super close. Its a duel between age and performance. Would you sit in an old car which drives better or a newer car which drives acceptably?
Simple decisions to be made with engraving effects. Our life is full of it. Success is a combination of smart "YES" & "NO".

And Darkness Tremble
Sensing some loneliness in this blog of mine..I guess its time to rev up something lawls not as if my posts are any beneficial to people out there, but for the sake of portraying a non-slacker image..lets just do this.
Found an awesome song from Hillsong. Hm.. wait... I just read the papers this morning and there was an article about seditious statements in blogs lol which obviously religion is one the sensitive topic that we shouldn't touch. How insecure are these.... woops.. lets not stick our foot into mud yeah. No preaching lolz this is just a song.
Jaw dropping huh? Lolz the drums was so intense that Rolf almost passed out and needed assistance (6.51) Look at him grinning his teeth!! Lol To some of you atheist readers (you know who you are), just forget about the lyrics and appreciate this quality music. Lol its actually better to close your eyes while you listen. Well, that's how you can really feel the music. Takes away the whole visual distraction thing lawls for what i think.
Mm hmph.. guess there's nothing else to blog about.. and thus, another boring post.

Michael J.
So I'm noticing a lot of mixed reactions from the death of Michael J. Well, this is expected due to his unusually bizarre life lol from the owner of a theme park to staying in a rented house. Everyone has their say on his death. Some cry their eyes out, some say that young boys can alas sleep soundly and some can just wrap this matter up and forget about it.
Michael Joseph Jackson, what an awesome awesome entertainer with a heart for humanity. That is what I thought of him. Other people might think he is a downright dirty bastard who molests young boys or some disfigured metro sexual dude. Lol i can't disagree that I am a little disappointed with his surgeries (It is a little too...... horrendous lol) but it was because of a dancing accident that caused him to perform his first plastic surgery on his ever famous dropping nose(He died without his nose).
But how could you judge a person even before the story is completely laid down? Everyone is innocent and has the right to defend themselves until the court proves him or her guilty. The negative feed backs from the public was just crazy. He was accused of molesting boys but in the end, was he convicted?? After years of bringing joy to the world through his music, this is the kind of support that he gets in return? Not too supportive huh? That's the smell of pure jealousy.
This world ain't full of angels. With his fame and wealth, who'll not be jealous of his achievement?? Who will not want his portion of wealth?? It's our nature to be jealous. It's just the matter of time when u stumble, people will take the advantage to stab you. Michael has a huge heart for children which explains why the Neverland Ranch and the sleeping with kids on the same bed. If you'd knew his background when he was a child, you'd know why he grows up with this slight difference. He was abused by his dad. He was the lead singer of the Jackson 5 band when he was only 8. Upon holding this role, he did not grew up as other 8 years old did. He traveled around to perform in the band.Michael was a grown man with a child in him.
"...always playful and sweet"(quoted by some star, i forgot the name).
All he wants is just to experience being a kid. Anyway, he did apologized for his behavior. Does this small matter weigh even heavier than his aspiring music? The worst thing is that he was still called a child molester even after he passed away. That is very sad. Even if you have a negative perception, spare him some skin la. His already dead dude. His songs about a better world, about children and war, about the blacks and white, can't you see his effort?
Even if you don't like the way he presents himself, you've got to at least love his music. He wasn't called the King of Pop for nothing. Well, that's all I have to say.
Stay tuned.

Chained
I'm chained to it....two hands, feet, neck chained to this piece of German metal lol Audi's marketing team is doing such a superb job in shaking up consumers. Check it out, one of Audi's set of TV commercial for the A4 B8.
Awesome commercial, instruments coming in one by one, background music that is rapidly building up, all in harmony as the time line peaks, the transition of every detail in the house from the stairs to the porch(even the dog !!), and the courage of taking away that M, and replacing it with an A4!! haha a salute for that. That is some fierce competition. Till then, I'll be back.

Shut It
I hope most of my readers are drivers so that they can really feel this post lolz trust me, you'll never know how this feels until you personally get a dose of it..hands on.
I got my licensed in the month of April 2008. So being a neeeeeww driver on the road, of course la safety first. You'll drive with all attention on the wheel. But wait.... because sometimes there're just some people who want to play along, they just have the urge to guuuuuide you while you're driving. Let's say everytime you come to a T-junction, the person will go "Eh, look left, look right, see got car or not?" or just blabber out some shit that satisfies them.
Passenger sit drivers (PSD).... Walao I just can't take this kind of assistants. I remembered this time when I was driving a manual, this PSD was instructing me, telling me when to shift gears
"Engage 1st gear" Vrooom.... "Ok now 2nd gear" Vroooooom.... "Ok 3rd gear"
Then came a car in my path
"Overtake that car la"
While I overtook that car
"Too close!! Too close !!" *while pointing at the divider*
And when my car was coming to a standstill
"Press your clutch"
All this and more happened in just 1 trip and mind you, my PSD was a year younger than me AND did not owned a license. I felt like stappling those flapping lips air-tight right away. That trip was damn distractful, damn pissing, and damn damned. BTW, not to boast, I was already driving when I was 14. If you don't trust my driving, hire Hamilton to fetch you. Yeap, I am but a probational driver who's lack of skills.

Back
Right guys..back from my post-traumatic event due to the study venue transfer lolz I just don't know why..but I felt degraded LOL taught to myself..can't possibly be that bad..but than theres a tought again coming from somewhere in my head saying "This is the real world" Yea if you'd graduate from a known university, of course your future will be a bed of roses. Financially though.
Those MNCs doesn't give a damn if your family had food or not..if you're not beneficial to them, why bother wasting resources on you? But than have you wondered why they donate generously to charity bodies? For recognition of course..Thats why you see it on the newspapers..big shots holding ENLARGED CHEQUES passing it to charity bodies..So why do you need to enlarge the cheque till everyone can see the amount? I leave you my beloved readers as the judge.
I would say that the biggest fear for me is not knowing how and what my future would be. Probably most people would share the same fear as me..and I remembered what my ESL lecturer said last year
"Fear is the best motivation" (Dr. Santha 2008) LOL
Still theres not much that motivates me to study in this program. Well, theres always a silver lining. see ya chaps
Can't keep my ears of Wang Lee Hom's Heartbeat

Effort?

Isn't that such a yardstick for the car design industry? That's just the face-lifted model for 2008. These guys at Audi, I shall bow down before them and kiss their frozen toes. What the hell, the A4 is just awesome. If I was driving my proton and one of those crossed my vision I'll chase and ram straight into it. I'm jealous that its a million years better looking than mine. And the best of all, it's only an entry-level model !

Alright now back to reality. The Waja of our country

and look what they've done to it! Just some minor change of the rims, head-lamps, tail-lamps, interior, and not to mention the front grill.. It is horrible. You get that plasticish impression from it. are they that desperate to have a face-lifted version? Alright, we know you popped a German engine in it but at least design a look which complements the engine. Pick a better design dude. The first impression leaves a mark.
p/s: No sweat foo zhuk, your car looks good lol

Quickie
Listening to the slow tempo of Hillsongs from my pc late in the night, there's a feeling of tranquility & peace. A very soft presence that calms your heart and takes you away from the harsh reality of the world. It feels absolutely different. Different than placing yourself in the city where things never stop moving around you. The urge to keep moving is always on and you could never stop. It's been quite awhile since I've felt like this. Total lost with the knee-weakening speeds of the outside world. 2008 has been a real QUICK turbolistic year. Little are the times where i actually have rest..in my mind. Problems keep pouring in one after another.
When the skies turn dark and lights start to disappear. The world is practically dead, which brings, peace. Your heart beats slower, you begin to restrain the clench of your fist on your worries, letting it fall and shatter on the ground. Live that moment free from stress and emotion. Worry no more. Words are just boundaries of what you would feel. Spend time to adore the beauty of the created universe. The vast space above you filled with stars. Amazingly soothing for the heart
